I thought that was frightening when I read it. He was SERIOUS! He thinks that unemployment is skewed by EBay in a meaningful way! Due to the number of people in other countries who use Ebay (including all the DVD sales from asian countries) isn't that just more outsourcing anyway?? And Bush keeps toting how home ownership is at record highs (so is bankruptcy) and Cheney talking about how EBay makes unemployment seem worse - that is the problem here, they really DON'T see the economy as a problem!!
Well, neither of them are the ones hurting. Stock market is stable, low interest rates, huge equity payments from Halliburton, good executive salaries and no expenses, the best health care in the world...
Of course Kerry-Edwards are filthy rich, too. Their agenda seems more connected to social reality, though.
